Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has said that the union government's decision not to invite President Draupadi Murmu for the inauguration of the new Parliament building was an example of caste discrimination under 'sanatan dharma'.

Udhayanidhi had triggered a controversy on September 2 after he said that 'sanatan dharma' should be eradicated as it is a principle that divides people on caste and religion.

He had compared 'sanatan dharma' to malaria and dengue while calling for its eradication.
