Toyota Kirloskar to Build New School in Maharashtra

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, July 31 (PTI) - Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, is set to construct a new Zilla Parishad school building in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between the district administration and Toyota Kirloskar, according to an official release.

Currently, a Zilla Parishad school in Bidkin serves 800 students from classes 1 to 10, offering education in the Marathi and Urdu mediums.

The upcoming school building is designed to accommodate 1,200 students, an official reported.

The new facility will include thirty classrooms, a science laboratory, a computer lab, a library, a playing room, a kitchen, and toilet blocks, as detailed by the official.

The project is expected to be completed by 2028.
