Chennai, Aug 26 (PTI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the expansion of the 'Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme' in urban areas on Tuesday, as part of the flagship initiatives of the DMK government. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the event as the chief guest, joining Stalin in serving food to children at St Joseph's Primary School to mark the launch. This expansion represents the 5th phase of the scheme, set to benefit an additional 3.06 lakh children across 2,429 schools. With today's launch, the scheme now reaches a total of 20.59 lakh children across the state.
