Staring at a possible expulsion from Lok Sabha, TMC MP Mahua Moitra appeared unfazed as she entered the Parliament on December 8. The Lok Sabha is scheduled to take up the ethics panel's report on her in the case-for-query case. Speaking to reporters, the firebrand TMC leader said, "Maa Durga has arrived now, we will see...It is said that when the end is near, wisdom dies first. They have started 'vastraharan' and now you will watch 'Mahabharat ka rann'."
Notably, the ethics panel has recommended the Lok Sabha Speaker to expel Moitra. She has been accused of seeking money for raising questions in the Parliament.
