The Indian Medical Association has said that the possible reasons behind the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country could be the relaxation of Covid-19 appropriate behaviour, low testing rate and the emergence of a new variant of coronavirus.
Hospitals across the country are conducting drills on Monday and Tuesday to review Covid-19 preparedness.
