The Jallikattu debate appears to be reigniting with the Supreme Court saying that it found something "troubling" in the Presidential assent allowed to the bull-taming sport in Tamil Nadu, and animal racing in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The judges said, "Our problem is whether putting that question to you will again involve disclosure of many things."
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the court should not delve into the issue as the Presidential assent has not been challenged, and it has its own constitutional sanctity.
