A father-son duo set a JCB on a fire in Bengaluru’s Shivakote village during an anti-encroachment demolition drive on Wednesday. Bachegowda and his son Chetan also reportedly abused the officials who had come to the village to demolish illegal structures. They were arrested.

The duo poured petrol on the JCB machine being used for demolition and set it ablaze. The driver was unharmed as he jumped out on time.

An attempt to murder case has been filed against the two men based on the complaint of the offcials.
