The red stains found on the walls of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed's office are human blood, according to the forensic report.

As per an India Today report quoting sources, the police have rounded up a few drug addicts after the probe revealed that some of them had gone inside Atiq's office to steal and drink. Some of the addicts had injury marks, the report added.

On April 24, the police found blood splattered on the walls of the office and on a white cloth. They also found a knife.
