Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was shot dead at his residence in Jaipur on Tuesday, will be cremated today. Two police personnel, including the station house officer (SHO), were suspended after the incident. After the two shooters were identified, the Rajasthan police formed a special investigation team. DGP Umesh Mishra has announced a ₹5 lakh reward for information on the two suspects. Violent protests broke out across the state following the killing which was caught on camera. Many of the markets remained closed in Jaipur, Udaipur, Bundi, Ajmer, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh and other districts.
