Six Family Members Injured in Hamirpur SUV Crash

Hamirpur (HP), Jun 12 (PTI): Six members of a family suffered serious injuries when their SUV collided with a large tree near Jolsapper village in Himachal's Hamirpur district on Thursday. The police reported the incident, which occurred when the family was en route to the Jwala Mata temple in Kangra district.

Remarkably, a two-year-old child emerged unscathed from the crash. The injured individuals, four of whom are women, received initial treatment at a nearby private clinic before being referred to Hamirpur Medical College for further care.

Chain Singh, a Theog (Shimla) resident and one of the injured, stated that the mishap happened while he was traveling to the temple with his family in his new SUV.

The SUV sustained damage in the accident. Nadaun Police Station in-charge, Nirmal Singh, confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident.
