Sachin Pilot and Shashi Tharoor have thanked the Congress party for including them in the party's top decision-making body, the CWC.
Soon after party president Mallikarjun Kharge announced the new team which included the two leaders among others, Sachin Pilot took to X to express his gratitude for senior party leaders.
Pilot, who rebelled against his own party's government in Rajasthan a few years back, pledged to strengthen the customs and ideology of the Congress.
On the other hand, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor too said he was honoured by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and the central leadership's decision to nominate him to the working committee and asserted that countless Indians who seek a more inclusive India "deserve the best" from the party.
