New Delhi, Aug 15 (PTI) A 27-year-old man found himself wounded by gunfire following an alleged attack by two brothers over a minor dispute near police quarters in Shahdara, according to an officer. The altercation occurred around 1:07 am close to Tikona Park, behind the Shahdara police station. Law enforcement received a PCR call at 1:43 am from Ridham Surma, who reported that his friend, Akhil Panwar, had been shot following a summons by Saurav Nagar and Gaurav Nagar. Surma transported the injured Panwar to a hospital, where medical professionals declared him out of danger. Panwar, a Shahdara resident, suffered four bullet wounds and is known as a bad character at the Shahdara police station. Initial findings indicate the shooting was triggered by a verbal confrontation during which Panwar allegedly hurled abusive remarks at the Nagar brothers. Authorities have filed a case based on Surma's statement, and an investigation is ongoing. Teams have been organized to apprehend the suspects.
