Pakistani citizen Seema Haider, who entered India illegally in May to live with her lover, was questioned for over nine hours by the Uttar Pradesh Police's Anti-Terrorist Squad on July 18. It was the second consecutive day of her questioning.
A local police official said Haider's Indian partner Sachin Meena and his father Netrapal Singh were also taken for questioning.
India Today reported that during interrogation Seema said that her brother was in the Pakistani Army but she did not know if he was still serving.
The report added Seema's husband in Pakistan told India Today that her brother and uncle both are in the Pakistani Army.
