Protests in Hyderabad broke out a day after the suspended BJP MLA T Raja Singh was granted bail within hours of his arrest for allegedly making alluding remarks against the Islamic Prophet.
T Raja was arrested on Tuesday and got bail shortly after.
He was suspended by the BJP and was issued a show cause notice for his 'incendiary' comments.
His bail caused massive protests in the city prompting the police to carry out flag march on Wednesday. The police have also detained protesters to mitigate the prevailing tension.
