S Jaishankar hails India-US relations at diaspora event in Washington

Noting the remarkable progress in the India-US relationship, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, on Sunday, stated that India-US ties were at an all-time high.

Speaking at an event organised by the Embassy of India at India House in Washington, D.C., he reiterated that the Modi government was committed to elevating the bilateral relationship to unprecedented levels, suggesting that their bilateral ties could reach 'the moon, maybe even beyond'.

Several senior officials of the Biden administration including; US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma, President Biden's domestic policy advisor Neera Tanden, and Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Dr Rahul Gupta were part of the event. 

The Union Minister is on nine-day visit to the United States.
