In a shocking incident, a woman influencer allegedly stabbed her would-be husband in Srinagar's Kak Sarai area, as per reports.
The accused, Asifa Bashir, from Parimpora, who is said to be a social media influencer, stabbed her fiance namely Adil from Bemina, Srinagar.
In a press release, police said, by the prima facie the stabbing was the result of an altercation due to the objection of the victim regarding her job.
Soon after the incident, Asifa fled from the spot, Police said. In a viral video, Adil can be seen seeking help as the blood is dripping from his lower abdomen.
Adil was taken to the SMHS hospital by the passersby. Upon reaching the hospital Asif was given immediate treatment and his condition is said to be stable now. As per officials.
As per reports Asifa and Adil are engaged and the Nikah had also taken place. The girl is said to be a social media influencer who has taken interviews with many politicians.
The accused was arrested by police and a FIR was registered in Safakadil police station.
