Pakistan-backed The Resistance Front has claimed responsibility for the terror attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district on Sunday, India Today reported on June 10.

In a message, the TRF warned of more such attacks on 'tourists and non-locals' and called the Reasi attack only the 'beginning of a renewed start', India Today's report further said.

TRF was founded in 2019 following the abrogation of Article 370. India designated TRF as a terrorist organisation in 2023.

Nine pilgrims were killed and 33 were injured after terrorists opened fire on the bus as a result of which the vehicle fell into a gorge.
