The attack, occurring at a prominent tourist spot in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, on Tuesday, tragically resulted in the death of at least 26 people. Among the deceased were two foreigners—one from the UAE and another from Nepal—as well as two local residents. Several others were injured in the incident, according to official reports. In response to the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi swiftly returned from his visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday morning, while Home Minister Amit Shah immediately traveled to Srinagar on Tuesday evening to oversee security efforts firsthand. The Prime Minister has firmly stated that those responsible for the attack will face justice, promising that no one will be spared.
