Sitamarhi, August 28: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged that more than 65 lakh individuals, primarily from economically disadvantaged and socially weaker sections, have been removed from Bihar's electoral rolls. Speaking at a 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' rally in Sitamarhi, Gandhi accused the BJP and the Election Commission of depriving Bihar's populace of their voting rights. "We have exposed the BJP and the EC for their alleged role in manipulating electoral outcomes. Similar tactics were employed in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Karnataka, and now they aim to replicate it in Bihar, which we will firmly resist," he asserted. Gandhi also promised to unveil further evidence to substantiate his claims of "vote chori" in the coming months. Before addressing the gathering, he paid respects at the renowned Janaki Temple in the locality. The Bihar elections are slated for later this year.
