Robin Sampla, former BJP youth leader and a close of Vijay Sampla joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday. The young leader was welcomed by Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann into the party fold.

The development comes amid reports of former MP Vijay Sampla's displeasure with the party after he was denied a ticket from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat.

Sampla has removed 'Modi ka parivar' tag from his 'X' profile along with his picture with party symbol.

Notably, Robin Sampla broke his decade-long relation with the saffron party and jumped the ship on Tuesday. Ludhiana is reportedly Sampla's stronghold.
