Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided that Punjab's tableau, originally intended for the Republic Day parade in Delhi on January 26, will tour every street and neighborhood in Punjab until the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

According to a report, the tableau will make a halt for 10 to 15 minutes in every village, allowing people to experience Punjab's rich heritage up close.

Notably, the Punjab government had prepared three floats for the parade, including ones depicting the sacrifices of Punjab's martyrs, the power of women as symbolized by Mai Bhago, and Punjab's enduring culture. However, these were rejected by the central government, which had previously suggested showcasing them during the India Day parade.
