Punjab: oil tanker catches fire after blast in Khanna

An explosion ripped through an oil tanker on the Ludhiana-Delhi National Highway near a bus station in Punjab's Khanna.

Following the blast, the tanker was engulfed by raging flames which quickly spread to the nearby area.

According to reports, the tanker caught fire after it overturned, leading to the mishap.

The firefighting operations are reportedly still ongoing, and authorities have cordoned off the area of the accident. No injuries or deaths have been reported so far.
