Punjab: Ludhiana DC conducts surprise inspection of DAC, RTO office

Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney conducted a comprehensive inspection of various offices at the district administrative complex (DAC) and urged officials to ensure the prompt delivery of services to visitors. The SDM office, MA Office, a section of the transport department, and the record room were among the offices examined during the inspection.

Sawhney emphasized the importance of all employees being present during working hours to prevent inconvenience for the public. She motivated officials and employees to facilitate seamless day-to-day tasks for the public and underscored the significance of efficient office management.

During her walkthrough in DAC, Sawhney suggested improvements in lighting and seating arrangements for the public. She also recommended exploring the establishment of additional service windows to enhance service delivery. Emphasizing prompt grievance redressal, Sawhney aimed to build trust in the government's commitment to pro-people and development-oriented policies.

Prominent officials, including ADC (G) Ojasvi Alankar and Assistant Commissioner Upinderjeet Kaur Brar, were present during the inspection. Sawhney interacted with both employees and visitors to the offices, reinforcing the government's dedication to public welfare.
