The Punjab State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, remains dedicated to the planned development of its cities.

As part of its commitment to providing transparent, efficient, and corruption-free services to the public, the government is set to organize a third special camp for issuing clearance certificates in the real estate sector.

This initiative was announced by Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardip Singh Mundian in a press release on Sunday in Chandigarh. He emphasized that the state is actively working to enhance investment opportunities, with clearance certificates now being issued on-site during these camps. This approach aims to address the concerns of promoters and developers promptly and efficiently.

To date, 178 promoters and builders have received clearance certificates in the two camps that have already been held. The third camp is being planned to distribute additional certificates, with the department actively preparing for it at the ground level.

Mundian highlighted that the upcoming camp will offer a wide range of important documents, including licenses, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letters of intent, building plans, zoning plans, promoter registration certificates, and layout plans of colonies from various development authorities. These certificates will be handed over to the public, facilitating smoother operations within the real estate sector.
