The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has launched several initiatives to inspire the state's people to engage in sports.

One such example is Rajneet Kaur, a talented bodybuilder and powerlifter, who currently serves as a Food Inspector in the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department in Chandigarh.

Rajneet recently achieved a remarkable victory, winning a Gold Medal in the North India Powerlifting competition in the 57 kg senior group. She also secured a Bronze medal in the 1st Physique Sports Championship in the Ladies Model Physique category.

Her achievements don't stop there. She clinched a Gold Medal in the Women's category at the 12th Mr./Ms. Chandigarh Championship 2024, organized by the Indian Body Builders Federation, which is recognized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Praising the sports-friendly policies and infrastructure of the state government, Rajneet mentioned her previous victories, including another Gold Medal in Powerlifting in the 57kg senior category (31-40 years) at Bathinda during the ‘Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan’ event organized by the Punjab Government. She also won a Bench Press competition in Goraya, competing in the 57 kg senior category.

Additionally, Rajneet bagged the top position in the Ms. Chandigarh Championship, organized by the Indian Bodybuilders Federation, in the female bikini category.
