Punjab: five IAS officers promoted as Additional Chief Secretary

The Punjab Government has given New Year's gift to 5 senior IAS officers by promoting them to Additional Chief Secretaries. The promoted officials include IAS officers of the 1994 batch - Vikas Pratap, Alok Shekhar, D.K. Tiwari, J.M. Balamurugan, and Tejveer Singh.

According to the government, the officers have been promoted under the Apex Scale.

Notably, officer Alok Shekhar is currently on deputation at the Centre, while Vikas Pratap is serving as the Financial Commissioner of Taxation.
