Local Government Minister Balkar Singh has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar to immediately draw up a plan, in coordination with Dera Management, for setting up a "Guru Ravidas Bani Adhiyan Center."
The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to establishing this adhiyan center, allocating Rs 25 crores for the project, he added.
Local Government Minister Balkar Singh held a meeting today at Punjab Bhawan with high officials of various Departments and Dera Management in the presence of Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs Anmol Gagan Mann and Lok Sabha Member Sushil Kumar Rinku, discussing the establishment of the "Guru Ravidas Bani Adhiyan Center."
Local Government Minister Balkar Singh stated that if additional funds are needed for this project, the state government will provide them.
He instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar to find a suitable location, prioritizing the "Guru Ravidas Bani Adhiyan Center" and to prepare the layout promptly with Dera Management.
He mentioned that the next meeting regarding the progress of this work will be scheduled soon.
He emphasized that the Punjab government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is keen to build this center and will not tolerate any negligence in its functioning.
