Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann extends greetings on Guru Ravidass Jayanti

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of the 648th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji. In his message, the Chief Minister lauded Sri Guru Ravidass Ji for his profound teachings, which emphasized love, compassion, mutual tolerance, universal brotherhood, and humanity. CM Mann highlighted Guru Ravidass Ji's tireless efforts in advocating for social equality and working towards the eradication of caste-based discrimination. He noted that the spiritual leader's life and teachings remain a source of inspiration for building a more egalitarian society. Describing Sri Guru Ravidass Ji as a significant spiritual leader and a guiding light for the underprivileged, Mann emphasized the enduring relevance of his teachings on humanism, particularly in today's materialistic world. The Chief Minister also called upon the people to celebrate Guru Ravidass Ji’s Parkash Utsav with unity, urging them to rise above the barriers of caste, color, and creed.
