Bathinda shooting: INSAS rifle went missing 2 days ago; military station's gates shut

Following a deadly shooting incident inside the Bathinda military station, Punjab police sources clarified that it was not a terrorist attack, as per news agency ANI.

Police sources linked the attack to the case of an INSAS rifle and 28 cartridges going missing two days earlier.

A senior police officer told news agency PTI that it was "not an attack from outside", but a "fratricidal incident".
