Puducherry: schools shut as H3N2 influenza virus cases spike

Amid rising cases of H3N2 influenza virus infections in Puducherry, the administration announced the closure of all schools from March 16 to 26.

Puducherry has reported over 75 cases of influenza cases belonging to the viral H3N2 subtype so far, as per official data.

No death related to the outbreak has been reported so far in the Union Territory.
