President Murmu to Visit Sabarimala Temple and Attend College Event in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 7 (PTI) President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple on October 22, coinciding with the final day of the Thulamasa Pooja darshan. Kerala Devaswom Minister V N Vasavan shared details of the visit, announcing that the state government has received notification of the President's plans to offer prayers at the revered hill shrine in the evening. Following her visit to Sabarimala, she will proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.

During her stay in Kerala, President Murmu is also expected to participate in the platinum jubilee celebrations of St Thomas College in Pala, according to the minister. He mentioned that the itinerary is being finalized and preparations to welcome the President are actively underway.

The Sabarimala temple, nestled deep within the forest, will be accessible to devotees for the Thulamasa Pooja only between October 18 and 22.
