'Prepared for any eventuality': Delhi CM Kejriwal on rise in Covid-19 cases

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reassured residents of Delhi that they don't need to worry about the surge in Covid cases as the government is prepared for any eventuality. 

He added that the government has sufficient oxygen cylinders and 7,986 beds for Covid patients are ready in Delhi hospitals. 

Kejriwal said the XBB 1.16 variant of Covid is predominant at the moment and accounts for 48 per cent of all positive cases. He added that the variant spreads rapidly but is not severe.
