Portfolios allocated in Modi Cabinet 3.0, top 5 ministers retain posts

After the Nation Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary party meet on Monday, portfolios have been allocated in the Prime Minister Narendra's Modi's third Cabinet.

There's no change in the top four ministers -- Rajnath sigh retains Defence, Amit Shah Home, Jaishankar external affairs and Nirmala Sitharaman finance. Nitin Gadkari too keeps the Ministry of Road transport and Highways, but with two junior ministers under him.

BJP stalwart and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the new Agriculture Minister, while former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar gets the Power Ministry.

Among the allies, TDP's Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu has been ahnded the Civil Aviation ministry, LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan will become the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, JDS leader and former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy gets the steel portfolio.
