Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has backed the wrestlers who are protesting against BJP MP and Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and said slammed police for allegedly mistreating the wrestlers on May 28.
Additionally, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that it is very sad that these sportsmen who brought laurels to the country, brought many prestigious medals for the country, and they served the country, today they are losing.
The wrestlers who were removed from Jantar Mantar on May 28 announced to drop their medals into River Ganga in Haridwar on Tuesday.
