Indian politician and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi has hailed soaps made by donkey milk, saying the product makes women beautiful. A video of the BJP MP speaking about the same at a public gathering in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur has been widely shared on social media.
In around 2 minute video Gandhi is heared saying, "Donkey's milk soap always keeps a woman's body beautiful."
Furthermore, the BJP leader claimed that Egypt Queen Cleopatra used to bathe in donkey's milk which kept her beautiful. Why don't we manufacture goat milk soap, donkey milk soap?..she added.
