BJP has launched a scathing attack on former Bihar CM Rabri Devi after her video of worshipping Tazia during Muharram went viral on social media.
In the purported video shared by RJD's Twitter handle, Rabri Devi is seen worshipping the Tazia while party national president Lalu Yadav is also seen at a distance at their residence.
Soon after the video circulated on cyberspace, BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha accused RJD leader for doing appeasement politics.
Speaking to reporters, Sinha said he would not object if someone worships Tajiya or wears a burqa. But it cannot be tolerated if someone insults Sanatan Dharma or boosts the morale of those who insult Sanatan Dharma.
