Opposition's 'we are united' message after Sharad Pawar's remarks spark concerns

There was a flurry of activity in the Opposition camp on Thursday as parties try to form a united front against the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections next year.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi amid speculations of the him changing sides after he took a stand different than that of the Opposition on the Adani issue.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also met Left veterans Sitaram Yechury and D Raja on Thursday, a day after he met Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
