With just a year to go for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bihar Chief Minister and his deputy held yet another meeting with a senior Opposition leader.

Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav travelled to Kolkata on April 24, 2023 to meet West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Mamata said that she has no "personal ego", and she wants the BJP to become "zero". She also asked Nitish to organise an all-party meeting in Bihar, where Jayaprakash Narayan's movement started.

Nitish said that the leaders discussed the coming together of all Opposition parties.
