PM Narendra Modi on Sunday placed the historic 'Sengol' inside the Lok Sabha Chamber in the new Parliament building.
The PM was handed over the sceptre by the Adheenam seers. He later carried the Sengol to the LS Chamber in a procession amid tunes of 'nadaswaram'
The PM was accompanied by the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
