Lok Sabha Speaker extends customary tea invite, opposition MPs boycott

As the Parliament's Budget session drew to a close on Thursday the opposition MPs continued their protest demanding a JPC probe into the Adani group of companies and disqualification of Rahul Gandhi.

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla lashed out at opposition MPs on the concluding day of the session with the latter taking out 'Tiranga march' from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk.

The opposition MPs boycotted the customary tea invitation extended by Speaker Om Birla after the Lower House was adjourned sine die.
