After Dalit leader and former Deputy CM G Parameshwara, the name of Congress working president Satish Jarkiholi has been suggested.
He is one of the three sugar baron brothers from the Mumbai Karnataka region, where Congress won 33 of 50 seats. Satish Jarkiholi's brothers are BJP leaders.
Belgaum Uttar MLA Asif Sait reportedly raised Jarkiholi's name for the CM post.
