Amid lot of speculations, the five-day special session of Parliament will commence on Monday, September 18.

Even though the government revealed agenda of the session, the Opposition still fears a googly by PM Modi and the central government.

The tentative agenda for this special session includes four bills of importance. However, notably absent from the lineup is the contentious 'One Nation, One Election' bill.

Despite the exclusion of the 'One Nation, One Election' bill, the session will focus on considering and passing four significant bills. These bills are the Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023; the Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023; the Post Office Bill, 2023; and the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Bill, 2023.
