Shortly after Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal took to twitter to praise education minister Manish Sisodia, CBI raided Sisodia’s Delhi residence as a part of investigation in connection with the alleged lapses in Delhi excise policy 2021-22.

Reportedly, Sisodia along with others have been accused of introducing the new excise policy to benefit liquor mafias.

Amid the massive showdown over CBI raids on Sisodia and other officials involved in the alleged scam, BJP hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party and touted the articles featuring Delhi government’s educational model and Manish Sisodia in New York Times and UAE-based Khaleej Times as ‘paid news’.
