'Brahmins not from India, they're from...': RJD leader sparks controversy

A leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal party has sparked a controversy by claiming that Brahmins do not belong to India.

Yaduvansh Kumar reportedly made the comments at a gathering in Supaul, Bihar on April 29, 2023.

He said that DNA tests show that Brahmins are from Russia and other European countries but later settled in India.

He accused Brahmins of trying to divide and rule others and said that the community should be chased away.
