Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections 2024: BJP releases list of 60 candidates

BJP on March 13 released its list of 60 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh.

The party has fielded Chief Minister Pema Khandu from Mukto seat.

The dates of the state elections are yet to be announced. They are expected to coincide with the Lok Sabha elections.

In the 2019 assembly polls, BJP posted a landslide victory, winning 41 of the 60 seats. Congress won just four seats, fewer than JD(U) that bagged seven seats.
