Junking party's allegations of kidnapping and pressure against BJP, AAP's Surat candidate Kanchan Jariwala said he withdrew his nomination voluntarily and not due to any pressure

AAP leader Jariwala, as per an NDTV report, made the revelation in a video in which he has accused his party of being anti-national.

He also said there was no pressure on him to withdraw the nomination and that he listened to his inner voice that guided him to not support an anti-Gujarat party like AAP.

Jariwala's statement emerged hours after AAP's state unit claimed that the Surat seat candidate was kidnapped and forced to withdraw from the upcoming state assembly elections.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia had also accused the BJP of stooping to pressure tactics fearing loss.
