Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh was not allowed to take oath as Rajya Sabha MP by Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on February 5.

The Chairman said that the matter is currently with the Privileges Committee.

This comes after Delhi's Rouse Avenue granted permission for Singh to take the oath.

The AAP leader was suspended from the Rajya Sabha on July 24 last year for not following the directions of the chair.

He is currently in jail in connection with Delhi liquor policy case.
