A police officer shot a woman in her head inside a police station in Aligarh while she was in the premises for her passport verification.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows Police Inspector Manoj Sharma taking a pistol from a colleague and loading it before pulling the trigger carelessly. The bullet directly hit the woman's head, and she fell to the ground.
The injured woman was promptly shifted to Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College where doctors said her condition was serious.
An FIR has been registered against the police officer and he has been suspended from service.
