Three Army soldiers were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday after forces launched a search and cordon operation in the higher reaches of the Halan forest area. According to officials, three security forces personnel were injured in the exchange of fire with terrorists and they succumbed during treatment. The development comes a day after an army soldier, who went missing from his native Kulgam last week was recovered by police on August 3, 2023
