On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, defence minister Rajnath Singh said that India is ready to cross the Line of Control with Pakistan to maintain its honour and dignity.
The raksha mantri also asked civilians to support soldiers if such a situation arises.
He gave the example of the Russia-Ukraine war, saying that the conflict has been going on for over a year because civilians stepped up and participated in the war.
